Photo Submission Guide

To proceed with your commission, we must receive photos that clearly show:
✔ Full body (head, torso, legs, and paws visible)
✔ Front view
✔ Side view
✔ Back view
✔ Standing or sitting posture where body proportions are visible
Photos must be:
-
Well-lit
-
In focus
-
Taken close enough to clearly see shape and structure
These details are essential for accurate 3D modelling and printing.
“Important: The pose shown in your main photo is the pose your Pawfect Miniature will be printed in. Extra photos help us match colour and markings only — they won’t change the pose.”
Make sure your main photo shows your pet in the pose you want your miniature to have.
Recommended
Number of Photos
Please upload one clear primary reference photo and 5–10 supporting photos where possible.
Helpful additional images include:
-
Close-up of the face
-
Clear view of eyes
-
Photos showing markings, coat pattern, or colour variation
❌ Photos That Cannot Be Used
Unfortunately, the following types of photos are not suitable for 3D modelling:
-
Blurry or low-resolution images
-
Photos taken from far away
-
Heavy shadows or very dark lighting
-
Photos with filters
-
Partial body shots (head only, cropped legs, lying down where shape is hidden)
-
Clothing, harnesses, or blankets that obscure the body
If submitted photos do not meet the requirements, we may need to request additional images before work can begin.

(Important – Please Read Carefully)
Your Pawfect Miniature is created as a fully 3D-printed replica, not a flat likeness. This means your photos are used to digitally model your pet’s entire body, head, and legs before printing.
For the best possible results, photos must be extremely clear and show the full body.
How Your Photos Are Used
Your Pawfect Miniature is created as a 3D-printed replica based on one primary reference photo.
-
Primary Reference Photo:
Used for 3D modelling and printing. The pose, posture, and body position shown in this image will be reflected in the final miniature. -
Supporting Reference Photos:
Used to guide colour matching, markings, and small details. These images do not affect the pose or structure of the printed model.
Photo Requirements (Essential)
Memorial Commissions
We understand that memorial commissions may sometimes have limited photographs.
Please still submit the clearest full-body images you have. If key details are missing, we will contact you to discuss what is possible before proceeding.
In some cases, limited photos may affect the level of detail achievable. We will always be honest and transparent.
Accuracy & Expectations
Your photos are used to:
-
Create a digital 3D model of your dog
-
Define body proportions, posture, and structure
-
Match coat colour, markings, and features
While we take great care to achieve a close likeness, slight variations may occur due to lighting differences and the handmade nature of the process.
What Happens After Submission
Once your photos are received:
-
We review them for suitability
-
We contact you if additional images are required
-
3D modelling begins once suitable photos are confirmed
Please note: Production cannot begin until acceptable photos are received.
Important Notes
-
Pawfect Miniatures are keepsakes, not toys
-
Each piece is handmade and hand-painted
-
Orders are custom-made and non-refundable once modelling has begun
Tip: If your pet has a unique expression or marking you’d like emphasized, you can include a note — we’ll make sure these details are reflected in the final piece.
Thank You
Thank you for taking the time to provide clear photos. This step is essential in allowing us to create a Pawfect Miniature that truly reflects your pet.
